Upon completion of the offering, the Company intends to lease premises of approximately 5000 square feet in downtown Saranac Lake to operate as a department store geared to the needs of the local community.

Originally a spin-off from the Save Saranac Lake Coalition, a group of local residents was formed to identify retailers who might potentially open a store in the village. In the course of their research, they came across the concept of community-owned department stores which have successfully served their markets in a number of rural communities, mostly in the Western U.S. A public forum was held in the village that featured presentations by representatives of stores in Powell, WY and Greenfield, MA. The response was positive and a group of volunteers from the community developed a business plan culminating in this offering.
